Drishti Santhe on Sunday, 30th Aug 2015 @ Narayana Nethralaya Hospital, Rajajinagar.
Greetings from Narayana Nethralaya.
As part of the National Eye Donation Fortnight, Narayana Nethralaya and its two eyebanks, Dr Rajkumar Eye Bank in Rajajinagar and Dr Shankaranand Eye Bank in Electronic City are organising a Drishti Santhe on Sunday, 30th Aug 2015 @ Narayana Nethralaya Hospital, Rajajinagar.
The objective again is to create awareness as more than 7 million of our countrymen, women and children are currently waiting for someone to donate their eyes. Every year during this fortnight, we conduct events and awareness programs to encourage pledging and to dispel misconceptions.
This year, we are introducing a theme 'Of the blind, for the blind' where the visually impaired get an opportunity to exhibit their talents and skills, be it, music, dance, public speaking, art and craft, etc.The events will include a painting competition for Class V-VIII students, an elocution competition for Class IX -XII students, a fancy dress competition for Class I-IV, a Facebook Video competition for college students / adults , a quiz for staff of companies and hospitals, cultural programs from visually impaired children and stalls/ displays from Blind Associations and schools.
Greetings and Good Wishes from Team Hosabelaku Trust @ 9945028899 / 8147778899
