On 1.12.2022 the first ever Eye donation by Mrs. Muthamma(( Physically Challenged) daughter of Vahneekula Kshatriya in the history of leech, followed by Body Donation. Mrs. Muthammana, daughter of Mullangi Muniyappa, Jigani, 57 years old, suffering from multiple organs failore, died this afternoon at YK Hospital, Jigani. According to her wish, her Eyes were Donated to Narayana Nethralaya through Hosabelaku Trust, then the Body was brought to the house and after the pooja, all the family members paid their last respects and the body was was handed over to Dr. Chandramma Dayananda Sagar Institute of Medical Education & Research Hospital. Muthamma's brothers Muniraju, Krishna, Lokesh, sister and family members, Dr. GK Narayan of YK Hospital attended the Eye donation and Body donation event and Dr. M. Ramakrishna and Manjulajiganiramakrishna of Hosabelaku Trust were present.
